Board of Review
Dear Scouts and Parents
The Troop 38 Advancement Committee will be implementing a new procedure for the Advancement Boards effective March 1, 2007.
To make our Boards run more smoothly, the following rules will be effective immediately:
1. All Boards will be by appointment ONLY. Do not wait until the last minute to schedule an appointment.
2. Appointments must be made by the parents or the Scout. We will allow appointments to be made by the Senior Patrol Leader. (Good experience for them.)
3. The contact is Dana Dorsett. She can be reached by email at dana@centralpoint.com.
4. When making an appointment, Dana will need the name and phone number of the Scout and what rank he is trying to attain. Dana will return your message and confirm your appointment.
5. The Scout must come to the board in FULL Class A uniform.(Sash included)
6. The Scout must have his handbook with him to include:
a. Initial on all requirements and dates
b. Initial and date of Scoutmaster Conference
c. Dates of all Camp-outs and Troop Activities for 2nd and 1st Class
d. First Aid Kit for 2nd Class Compass for 1st Class
e. Description of Service work for 2nd Class (1 hour)
